Fishy Odds on Feyenoord/Twente

As we all know guys, Feyenoord is in a bit of a slump to say the least. They lost badly to Ajax on the weekend and the coach has told them to take a few days off and reflect on the worst performance they have ever given him.

Many fans are outraged at this because it means the team needs to hit the pitch and practice. But from a psychological standpoint, he made a very wise decision. The team will re-group Wednesday with their minds fresh and the feeling of starting with a clean slate. These two days off may have a better impact on his squad rather than making them constantly think on the pitch.

Twente is off to a great start and they have +335 odds for an away win with +1/2 -115 Asian Handicap. Many punters are thinking of this as high value and easy money, but there must be more to the story.

Twente haven't produced even a draw at Feyenoord for 4 years now, and this might be the best time to defeat that. They haven't lost in seven fixtures and are full of confidence after beating Excelsior 4-1.

The verdict: Something inside me says that Feyenoord will pull off a win and right the ship. But, it's so hard to bet on them due to their current form and Twente's upbeat confidence. I know this game should be a no bet but the scenario intrigues me.

The pressure on the players and the club is still very high and the current Feyenoord team does not perform well under pressure. call it ballsy or call it stupid, but I put some of my stakes on Feyenoord tonight. There's just something inside me that tells me they win tonight. I normally cap off of the news, but this match produced such a strange scenario. Good Luck guys. I put a little bit on the draw too to back myself up.

Nah, I don't have any Dutch roots in me. I am from Polish heritage and I can't offer advice on that league just because there have been match fixing scandals constantly appearing in my country.

Sorry wildemu but I have to bet against Feyenoord in this spot. Their last match against Ajax was worse than the 0-4 score indicates. They were in complete disarray. Twente is playing well right now so I have to play the X2 here (draw or away win).

I think I understand what you are saying here. When most people are on one side it sometimes happens that the other side wins. Feyenoord could regroup and come back to win this one as a way of exorcising their demons from the last match. A win here would change their whole team around.

i saw that... I also got excited when soccerstand posted 2-1 feyenoord but it was glitching from the first goal. As of now, I don't have any idea if they're behind 5 minutes on the other matches or they're playing at the same time. It hurt me when i saw that 2nd goal go back to 1-1.

I will take this win, put in my pocket, and never mention this game again. This is not a match I would like my money on in the future. No "I told you so's" because this match was truly 50/50 to the last moment.

I layed it off at the right time, so I got a nice profit out of it. Feyenoord are known for their late comebacks and they get lucky once again.
